Baptism Font


The path to the Eucharist passes through the waters of baptism. St. Francis' was without a baptismal font since some time after the arrival of the Blessed Sacrament Congregation in 1929 because it than became a shrine of eucharistic devotion instead of a parish church. Vatican II has forged again for us the link between baptism and eucharist. For this reason, and in memory of Blessed Mary MacKillop who was baptised here, this new font has been installed.
